Jaxon is ready to have a wheely good time at the upcoming 2019 Victorian State Schools Spectacular.
The Sunbury Heights Primary School pupil will be riding and doing all kinds of cool tricks on his BMX during the one-day event at Melbourne Arena, which showcases the best young talent in the state.
Jaxon, 10, said he was excited to take part in the event for the first time.
“I’m looking forward to riding the ramps and doing tricks,” he said. “I like going high and doing big tricks and the thrill of it all.”
Jaxon has been riding BMX’s since he was four years-old.
“I can do fast spins, 360s, 540s, truckdrivers, fakies and a lot of no footers and one footers,” he said.
Jaxon’s dad Chris Philp said he was looking forward to watching his son perform on the big stage.
“We’re very proud,” he said.
“He’ll put on a spectacular for the spectacular.”
The 2019 Victorian State Schools Spectacular will be held at Melbourne Arena for two shows on Saturday, September 14.
