Hundreds of primary school-aged children will dress in their PJs well before bedtime for this Friday’s Sunbury Blue Light Disco.
Spokeswoman Rose Le Guier says the disco, held every two months, gives children the chance to interact with police in a fun, social setting.
‘‘It’s a healthy physical activity which contributes to the social and emotional development of young people,’’ she says.
‘‘We also provide our junior committee members with meaningful roles in the preparation and running of the discos, aiming to educate and instil accountability.’’
Friday’s disco will run at the memorial hall from 6-8pm. Entry: $7.
