Sunbury DJ Josh Shoe is on track to glory in the club scene.

The 19-year-old has been signed by Lucky Entertainment – the same agency that represents Melbourne producer and DJ Will Sparks.

“It’s pretty surreal, to be honest,” he said.

“I just like making people happy.”

Josh said he loves ‘DJ-ing’ and the pleasure his music brings to a crowd.

He began ‘DJ-ing’ when he was 15 because his best friend was doing it.

Even as an under-ager he made his mark.

“I first started ‘DJ-ing’ at parties in Sunbury, then I got into under-age events,” he said.

He toured around Australia with the Good Life Festival team and performed interstate for Oktoberfest in the Gardens and schoolies.

The up-and-coming DJ has even played sets in New Zealand and Bali.

But while he plays in some of Melbourne’s biggest clubs on a week-to-week basis he hasn’t forgotten where he started – on Friday nights he can be seen running the show at Sunbury’s Alley Lounge and Nightclub.
