Pancake fundraiser for flipping good cause

Gisborne Uniting Church’s annual Pancake Day fundraiser helps people in times of crisis.

Volunteers will be serving up these simple delights at the IGA supermarket in the Village shopping centre from 9.30am until 12.30pm this Saturday.

Church spokeswoman Maree Clarke says gold coin donations will support programs that help people get back on their feet.

“We are proud to support the work of UnitingCare, and call on everyone in our community to enjoy a pancake or two and get behind this fantastic cause.”

The Uniting Churches of Kyneton, Barfold, Metcalfe, Mia Mia and Sutton Grange will have a pancake stall at St Andrews’ Kyneton from 10am to 12.30pm on February 13. There’s also a garage sale from 8.30am at 54 Ebden Street, Kyneton.
