More than 650 people were showered with colour as they walked and ran around Gisborne’s Gardiner Reserve last week to raise money for a local health service.
Another 100 locals supported Macedon Ranges Health’s Colour Fun Run and Walk by volunteering at the fourth annual event.
Macedon Ranges Health chief executive Don Tidbury said the community support was amazing.
“For this to be our fourth year of the event and have such continued enthusiasm and support from the community is incredible,” Mr Tidbury said.
“The Colour Run is Macedon Ranges Health’s flagship health promotion event and it provides a great day out for the family whilst encouraging healthy, active lifestyles and social inclusion.”
All funds raised will support the independent, not-for-profit health care provider.
