SES Gisborne has issued a flood warning with heavy rain expected this evening.
The warning has been issued for parts of the Macedon Ranges, including Gisborne, Bullengarook and Gisborne South.
At least 20 to 30mm of rain is expected today with isolated thunderstorms of 50 to 60mm in parts of the shire.
SES Victoria recommends people report any debris on the road.
SES Gisborne media officer Ross Evans said people should regularly check the Bureau of Meteorology for updates throughout the day.
