Exposure sites added in the Macedon Ranges

A number of COVID-19 exposure sites have been listed across the Macedon Ranges today.

The Department of Health is still urging all people, including those who are fully vaccinated, to isolate in the case of exposure to a site listed on the department’s website.

Paysanne Cafe on High Street in Woodend has been listed as a tier one exposure site, with the case having attended the venue between 8.30am and 11am on Sunday, October 24.

Woodend Health and Fitness has been listed as a tier one site, with a positive case having attended the venue on three separate occasions – Wednesday October 20, Friday October 22 and Monday October 25. On each occasion, the case attended the site from 5.45am to 8am.

The Macedon Lounge on Victoria Street in Macedon has also been listed as a tier one exposure site, with the case having attended the venue between 7.30pm and 11.30pm on Friday, October 22.

Anyone who has been exposed to a tier one exposure site and is not fully vaccinated is expected to get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days.

Fully vaccinated individuals that have attended a listed tier one exposure site must also get tested and quarantine for seven days.
