Sunbury children are being encouraged to take their toys to infinity and beyond.

To celebrate the arrival of Toy Story 4, Disney Pixar and Sunbury Reading Cinema are calling for donations of quality, pre-loved toys to help brighten the lives of disadvantaged children.

The donated toys will go on new adventures with Save The Children Australia.

Some toys will join the Save The Children Toy Well program, while others will be placed in the organisation’s op shops.

It is being requested that toys be unbroken, have all batteries removed and are in clean condition and working order.

Any toys received that might not be in the required condition, will be passed on to recycling company TerraCycle which will give them new leases on life.

A carnival-themed toy donation booth has been set up in the foyer of the Sunbury Reading Cinema.

The Toy Story 4 toy drive will run until Sunday, July 21.
