College set to ‘show off’

Sunbury College students will strut their stuff in the Show Off 2018 exhibition and fashion parade.

Audiences will be treated to an array of visual and creative material made by students from all year levels in subjects ranging from studio arts to food technology.

College product design and technology teacher Lisa Wills said the event was a fabulous way for the students to show off their best work.

“Students will participate in an adventurous exploration of the art and design works on display,” she said.

The theme for this year’s fashion parade is Battle of the Ribbons. Much of the planning is being carried out by product design and technology students.

Audiences will be treated to a performance from year 11 VET music student Zoe Doody, and a performance by the year 9 dance class.

Ms Wills said the effort being put into the shows by the school community was outstanding.

“The arts and technology key learning area staff work extremely hard to put the event together and appreciate the help and support from staff, students, parents and the local community to ensure its success,” Ms Wills said.

The shows will be held at the school on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 27 and 28, from 6.30-8.30pm.
