Sunbury carols bring nativity to life

Simonella Turnbull and daughter Sierra, seven months (pictured), will take centre stage in a live nativity presentation at Sunbury’s annual Christmas Carols this Saturday.

The Sunbury Choral Association, a big band, schools and dance groups will also perform at the Village Green as part of the free event put on by the Combined Churches of Sunbury.

Donations will go to Sunbury Community Health’s Action for Recovery program, a six-week course for family members concerned about their loved one’s alcohol or drug use.

This year’s event, which will be broadcast live on 3NRG 99.3FM, is from 5-8.30pm.
