Macedon Ranges council has nominated its flagship Romsey storm waste processing facility for the National Awards for Local Government and is calling for your vote.
The awards are a celebration of the best achievements of local governments across the country.
In a partnership with Bushfire Recovery Victoria, the facility turns green waste into usable products for the community, like stakes for planting, fence posts, free firewood and root balls for fish habitat.
The facility is nominated in the Regional Growth category, with voting open until September 14.
