The drawings and paintings of Gisborne’s Natania Hollingsworth will feature in the Macedon Ranges Art Trail’s exhibition at the Woodend Winter Arts Festival this weekend.

The exhibition, Listen with your Eyes, will display works of art inspired by the themes of Woodend, winter and festival.

Thirty local artists will be showing their masterpieces, including recent prize-winners Helen Cottle, Kathy Medbury, Lynn Munn and Shay Downer.

All of their paintings, ceramic works, origami pieces, photographs and jewellery will be available for sale.

Macedon Ranges Art Trail will host a preview of the show before the festival’s opening on Friday, June 8, at the Woodend Tennis Club.

The group is inviting people to drop by from 5pm for a drink before moving on to the festival’s fireworks at Buffalo Oval.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am-4pm daily from Saturday to Monday.

The group is asking for donations instead of an entry fee to help it continue its ongoing promotion of local artists.
