New chapter for Woodend Winter Arts Festival

General practitioner and author Dr Susi Fox. (Joe Mastroianni)

Three Macedon Ranges authors will come together at the Woodend Winter Arts Festival to share the process of writing and publishing a book.

The Words From Woodend panel will be made up of local general practitioner and author Susi Fox, author Kirsty Manning and author and teacher Dee White.

The three women come from differing backgrounds, have produced different kinds of books and have differing experiences as authors.

Together they will engage in a lively exchange about the realities of bringing a work to life, the publishing process and presenting it to the world.

Dr Susi Fox recently published her first novel

Mine, which attracted a lot of interest from critics, Ms Manning’s second book The Jade Lily has been sold in two other continents and will be published in Hebrew, and Ms White has written a series of books, articles, short stories and poems.

Words from Woodend will take place on Sunday, June 10, from 10-11am at the Woodend Community Centre.

Tickets cost $20.
