Relay for Life

Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises funds for Cancer Council’s vital work in cancer research, prevention, information and support. Start or join a team in the Melton 2018 Relay. Saturday, February 24 at TABCORP Park, Melton South, Victoria.

Sunshine Community Brass

Sunshine Community Brass is looking for new members to join its vibrant band of musicians. With almost 90 years of history, the band is looking to grow for the future. Sunshine Community Brass is currently looking for cornet (trumpet), trombone and percussion players. They rehearse Tuesday nights from 8pm, 45 Furlong Road,
North Sunshine.

Sounds of the season

The Moorabool Light Orchestra Christmas Concert will feature Sounds of the Season on Sunday afternoon, December 17 at 2pm at the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall.

Special guests include the Geelong Handbell Choir, Carolyn Bennett (soprano), Barry Wilkins OAM (musical director). General admission: $25, tickets at the door from 1pm, or pre-sales Bacchus Marsh Florist & Nursery.

Letters to Santa

Let Santa know what you want for Christmas with free, specially addressed Santa letters available at Santa’s mailbox in the Williams Landing Shopping Centre. Make sure you post your letter before December 15 to allow enough time for Santa to reply!

Diggers Rest carols night

Come and join your local community as we celebrate Christmas. Be entertained by local school children and professional performers. Refreshments will be available for sale and a visit from Santa and Mrs Claus will happen at the end of the

Christmas craft sessions

Twilight Christmas rescheduled

A severe weather forecast, forced the City of Melton to cancel its Carols by Candlelight event and postpone Christmas at the Horse – Family Fun Day. Now an alternative Christmas event has been organised for Tuesday, December 19, from 4-7pm.

Celebrate Christmas and the opening
of the Stage 3 redevelopment in McKenzie Street, Melton. The free, family-friendly event will include fun and games. Be entertained with stories, live music and craft activities in various locations between High Street and McKenzie Street in the Melton Town Centre. The Amphitheatre, 323 High Street, Melton 3337.
There will be a live music performance by the ‘Magical Mountain’ at the Amphitheatre, with roaming performers and story tellers.
