All things old can become new again for art lovers and collectors at the Kyneton Antique and Vintage Fair this week.
The event is one of the many highlights of the town’s Daffodil and Arts Festival, which runs from September 1 to 11 this year.
Fair co-ordinator Hanne Juul says the antique fair, which celebrates two decades this year, has had a name change in the past two years to appeal to lovers of vintage as well as antique collectors.
“What started out as the Kyneton Antique Fair but changed its name to the Kyneton Antique and Vintage Fair,” she says.
“Vintage has become quite a buzz word especially for the younger collector and fashionistas.”
The fair will take over the historic Kyneton town hall in Mollison Street this weekend.
“We’ll have a great a mix … anything from a thimble to a grandfather clock and everything in between,” Ms Juul says.
Doors open Friday, September 2, 5-8pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Father’s Day Sunday, September 4, 10am-4pm. Entry $7.
