Zoo fun for toddlers

Children will be able to enjoy face-painting, crafts and hairbraiding at Werribee Open Range Zoo’s African Village in coming months.

Toddler Thursdays will be held at the zoo every Thursday throughout April, May and June from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Activities will also include dress-ups, music and dance.

Each week’s event will feature a different ambassador animal, which will be linked to the children’s activities and education about Zoos Victoria’s conservation campaigns.

Toddler Thursdays are included with general admission to the zoo – $36 for adults, $32.50 for seniors, $27 for concession, $18 for children aged 4-15 years old (who receive free entry on weekends and school/public holidays) and free for children aged three and under.
