Fire up the barbie

Head along to Bunnings Werribee (55 Cherry Street) or Bunnings Hoppers Crossing (221-23 Old Geelong Road) on Saturday, January 20 between 9am and 4pm to buy a sausage. All funds raised will go to the Werribee CFA and the Hoppers Crossing Fire Brigade.

Holiday Club For Kids

Kids, if you have nothing to do on January 17 and 24, you can visit the Werribee Church of Christ, 200 Tarneit Road, Werribee from 10am-1.30pm to watch a movie, have lunch and play some games. This is a family event and parents are most welcome to come and join in on the day.

Wyndham Grand Annual Yoga Trail

Experience progressive community yoga in the great outdoors at iconic Wyndham tourist destinations. The next yoga event will be held on Sunday, January 21 at
the Werribee Park Homestead, K Road, enter via Mansion Hotel and Spa car park. From 8.45am to 10am. Cost is $16 per class. Bring your own yoga mat or hire

Bring a smile to someone’s day

The Multiple Sclerosis Community Visitors Scheme is seeking volunteers to join its program to visit elderly residents in either their homes or aged care facilities in the Wyndham area.

Rhythm of Africa

Now in its 21st year, Rhythm of Africa has become a must-do summer tradition at Werribee Open Range Zoo, bringing together families and friends with live music, children’s activities and picnics on the grass. The summer concert series runs every Saturday night until February 24. Bookings essential. Tickets are $18 for children, $36 for adults and gates open at 5.30pm.
