August shows at Cathouse Players

Kyneton’s Cathouse Players are eagerly rehearsing for their latest show.

The shows’ centrepiece will be an enactment of A.R Gurney’s play Love Letters, which reveals the 50-year words-on-paper friendship between characters Melissa and Andy.

There will be three support acts – A.A. Milne’s The Boy Comes Home; Maurice Baring’s Catherine Parr; and a short vignette from the Cathouse archives with well-known Kyneton actor Alan Stone.

The not-for-profit theatre company will perform four shows. Performances on Saturday, August 19, and Saturday, August 26, start at 8pm. Ticket prices include wine and cheese.

Shows on Sunday, August 20, and Sunday, August 27, start at 2pm and will include high tea and champagne.

Tickets: $25/20. Bookings: 0490 485 850
