Culinary creations keep you coming back

A friendly and relaxed atmosphere is what draws patrons to the Romsey Hotel year after year. The hotel has a long and rich history in the closeknit regional community.

Chef Lakhvinder (Rocky) Sidhu, who has worked at the North Fitzroy Arms and the Shoppingtown Hotel, is now bringing his culinary skills and experience to the Romsey Hotel.

“Leaving home every day and getting to cook with fresh produce at all times as well, as cooking food from different backgrounds is what keeps my passion for food going,” he says.

Diners can choose traditional Aussie tucker such as lamb fillets, fish and chips, chicken schnitzel, steak, fresh seafood, or from an array of international cuisines including Italian or Asian-inspired dishes.

One of the bistro’s most popular specialities is barbecue pork ribs that are marinated, slow-cooked and served with chips and salad.

For those dining out for a special occasion, why not whet your appetite with bruschetta made with chopped tomato, onion, basil and crumbled feta.

Follow that with a tender chicken roulade stuffed with dried apricot on a bed of herb mash, red-wine demi-glace and sautéed bok choy. A decadent chocolate mud cake served with vanilla ice-cream could round off this beautiful meal.

Whether patrons are in the bar for a quick bite or in the bistro with friends, there is something for everyone.

The award-winning kitchen team has daily suggestions that are sure to entice visitors.

Facilities include TAB, pool table and drive-through bottle shop. Consider the Romsey Hotel when booking your next function. Seniors groups are also welcome.
