Light work provides delight

The Hume Light$mart Program, an initiative of the City of Hume, is helping businesses with fitting energy-efficient lighting to help save money and reduce environmental impact. A number of local enterprises have already jumped on board, and are collectively saving about $13,000 each year. Barry Huxley, owner of travel agent Helloworld Sunbury, is thankful he made the switch and is already seeing big savings. Mr Huxley uses LED
panels that provide extra lighting while using half the energy of the double fluorescent lights they replaced.
