U3A meeting

Life as a councillor will be the topic of conversation at the University of the Third Age’s next meeting this Friday. John Connor will provide insight into his experiences with Macedon Ranges council. From 2pm at the Kyneton Community Learning Centre portable room, 34 Mollison Street.

Musical tribute

Songs from classic film and stage shows will be celebrated in Kyneton this Friday. Yes, I Remember It Well pays homage to musicals such as Brigadoon, My Fair Lady and Paint Your Wagon. From 11.30am at Kyneton Town Hall. Tickets: $17.50.

Farmers, their land and produce can be captured for a new Macedon Ranges Agribusiness Forum photography competition. Short-listed photos will be exhibited at the launch of the forum on June 26. The winning photographer will receive a produce hamper valued at $200.

Tractor time

Tylden will hold its annual fair and vintage tractor pull this Saturday. Highlights include camel rides, homemade curries, cakes and jams, classic car display and a competitive tractor pull. It’s from 10am-3pm at Tylden Primary School.
