Hard lesson

Police allegedly detected a car travelling at 101km/h in a 40km/h school zone of Boardwalk Boulevard, Point Cook on May 10. The driver, a 22-year-old Point Cook man, will be summonsed for speeding offences, failing to display P plates and driving on a suspended licence. His car was impounded for one month at a cost of $917.

Bikes stolen

Police are appealing for assistance to help find a group of men who stole bicycles from the Williams Landing Railway Station in March. In one incident, on March 18, three men arrived at the station by train about 7.50pm. The men returned about 8.25pm and stole a bike from the bicycle cage.

Assault probe continues

Police are seeking to identify a man who was allegedly involved in the assault of an autistic teenager on a Tarneit bus about 5pm, on April 15. A teenager has been arrested in relation to the incident, but police have appealed for help to identify another person they believe was involved. He is perceived to be of African appearance and was wearing a blue and red jacket, grey tracksuit pants, a black baseball cap and white runners. Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000.
