Sunbury picked up their third win of the season on Saturday defeating Craigieburn City 1-0 away from home in the Men’s State League 3 North-West competition.
The win puts them in third place on the ladder after five rounds.
Prior to the match, both teams sat on two wins and were eager to add to their win tally.
Sudbury will take on a winless Moonee Ponds United, who sit last on the ladder at their home ground on Saturday.
Over in Men’s State League 4 West, Gisborne made it three wins in a row after losing the first two games of the season.
The 2-0 win against Bell Park now puts them in fourth position on the ladder.
Gisborne will take on a winless Golden Plains on Saturday on their home pitch.
