A weekend of mixed results has seen Sunbury slide down the standings in division 1, section 1 of the Bowls Victoria pennant.
Sunbury’s double-header weekend started in promising fashion.
Led by Bailey Moffat, Marc Bullows and Lee Wesley, Sunbury defeated Whittlesea 71(12)-67(6) on Saturday, February 12.
On Sunday, Sunbury lost all four rinks in its contest with Bacchus Marsh, which finished 93(18)-55(0).
The win saw Bacchus Marsh jump into fifth place, while Sunbury now sit in eighth.
Sunbury will play Brunswick at home next weekend.
