Rupertswood are the undeniable queens of the Riddell District Netball League’s under-19 competition.
Since the competition began last season the Sharks have won every one of their games they have played.
On Sunday, they made it a second successive premiership with a 23-16 win over Riddell at Romsey Park.
The Sharks started the better of the two sides, shooting the first five goals of the game.
They were never headed from there and they controlled the game as they led at every quarter.
Midcourter Georgia Hellyer was named best on court by the umpires.
Sharks coach Katie Clarke said she was more nervous this time round going into the grand final with her “flossies”.
“They have worked hard and really deserve it,” Clarke said.

“Riddell was always a very hard team to play against.”
This year’s premiership side was a completely different one from 12 months ago as the club looked to bring more players into the senior program.
“You have to learn who you have and how they play,” Clarke said.[huge_it_slider id=”47″]
“I didn’t think it would disrupt the team and I’m really proud of how they handled it.”
Clarke said she would like to continue coaching the side next season.
