Jets sign import

The Sunbury Jets have announced their first new signing for the Big V state championship season.

The Jets have announced a number of re-signings in recent months for both their men’s and women’s program.

The Jets announced last week that Jordan Dickerson was joining the men’s side. The Jets said on social media that Dickerson would bring another level to the club’s program on both ends of the floor.

The American spent one year of college basketball at SMU and three years at Penn State, before going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft.

Since then he has played for Bashkimi Prizren before playing in the Greek Basketball League.

Dickerson has been trying to invigorate his basketball career after having a few gaps in his career.

He came out to Australia with Vindicated Sports-International late last year, playing a number of matches including against the Craigieburn Eagles.

Speaking of Vindicated Sports social media, Dickerson said coming out to Australia reviatlised him in terms of his basketball.

“Having a chance to be out here playing with guys and being overseas, playing with guys from all over the world… It’s been an overall wonderful experience.”

Dickerson joins a league most valuable player Ish Sanders, Nathan Marshall, Trevor Clayton and Max Barkeley who have all recommitted

All four were in the Jets starting five and played big roles in the Jets grand final series run.
