The other grades have a bye due to the Melbourne Cup weekend.
It was better news for some of the junior competitions, with play getting underway during last week.
Sunbury was also left on the side lines in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association on Saturday.
The VTCA cancelled all games by the first XI matches during the week due to not enough grounds being playable.
The remaining matches got cancelled on Saturday morning, including Sunbury’s match against Williamstown Imperials.
