Cransberg departs Bulldogs

Jordan Cransberg’s stint at Gisborne in the Bendigo Netball League looks set to be over.

Super Netball side West Coast Fever announced that Cransberg had joined the club as a training partner.

She joins her twin sister Zoe Cransberg who made the move to Western Australia last year and is also a training partner.

Jordan was previously a training partner with the Melbourne Vixens.

Cransberg joined Gisborne last year and played a big role for the club inbetween her other netball commitments.

Bulldogs coach Tarryn Rymer said last year that Cranberg’s impact on the club had been massive.

“They are such great individuals and it’s not just what we see on the court,” she said at the time of Cransberg and fellow Vixens training partner Claudia Mawson.

“Their knowledge is valuable for the young girls. Working with them, they are so crusiey and disciplined in the way they play.

“They know what it’s like to be part of a team. They play high calibre netball and they rock up and train and are involved in the club.”

Fever coach Dan Ryan said Jordan would and add to the club’s midcourt depth as they look to defend the title they won last year.

“ Jordan has moved her medical studies to the University of WA and has been training with us across the summer and has been so impressive.

“She’s an exciting talent with a big future.”

While Cransberg departs the Bulldogs, they have already secured another player with Super Netball experience.

Defender Zoe Davies, who is a training partner for the Collingwood Magpies, has joined the Bulldogs.

Davies has been a star of the Victorian Netball League with the City West Falcons for a number of years and was named best on court in the Falcons grand final win last year.

Mawson, Kirby Elliott, Emerson Lakey and Charlee Kemp have re-signed for the Bulldogs,
