RDFL

Riddell premiership coach Justin Belleville has signed on for next year’s Riddell District Football League season. The Bombers announced that Belleville would continue on as coach, having been co-coach in 2019 and held the role solo since. The Bombers have already announced the re-signings on key premiership players Nathan Croft, Ben Sonogan, Jordan Reardon, Tommy Alkemade, Callum Willliamson, Dylan Tarczon and Josh Grabham. Matt Panuccio rejoins the club having played with Gisborne this year.

Ballarat FL

The Sunbury Lions have announced the signing of Victorian Football League listed-player Josiah Garisto. The rebounding defender joins the club from Avondale Heights in the Essendon District Football League where he was among this side’s best players and was on Essendon’s VFL list. The Lions have signed a second player with VFL-experience with Rivva Karpany joining the club, having played at Port Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League and Coburg in the VFL. The Lions have re-signed a number of players including Tyson Lever, Jake Sutton, Harry Minton-Connell and Harry Miller.

CVWFL

Kyneton has reappointed Phil Hawkes as its coach for next year’s Central Victoria Women’s Football League season. Hawkes will lead the side for a third year and is keen to continue to work towards his goal of winning a premiership in the next three years. Bree Hateley will be a playing assistant coach, while Kylie Munro returns to the club in a coaching role, having previously played in the team.

AFLW

The Prespakis sisters continue to be recognised heading into the AFLW awards season. Having finished highly in the AFL coaches award, both Maddy and Georgie have been nominated in the All-Australian squad and for the under-22 All Australian squad. Maddy is looking for a fourth straight under-22 team award and Georgie a second, while Maddy looking for a third All-Australian award.
