Woodend man dies in Rochford crash

A Woodend man has died in a crash in Rochford.

Emergency services were called to reports of a car on its roof on Government Road about 8.30am on Sunday 5 October.

The driver and only occupant of the car, a 22-year-old man from Woodend, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he later died.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
