The 43rd annual Woodend Lions Art Show will run over the March long weekend to raise funds for the Lions’ community projects and school scholarships.
A collection of artworks from local and travelled artists will be on display and for sale.
This year’s show will include a raffle to win a painting by Macedon Ranges artist Helen Cottle.
Woodend Lions president Barry McDonald said many local individuals and businesses contributed the show’s prizes as a way of giving back to the community.
Prizes will be awarded on opening night, Friday, March 9, from 7-9pm. The show will be held at St Ambrose Parish Hall, 18 Templeton Street, on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 from 10am-5pm, and on Monday, March 12 from 10am-4pm.
