Woodend CFA keen to hear from community-minded drivers

Woodend CFA needs a few good men, or women, to ensure its two trucks and a pumper are able to turn out for incidents.

First lieutenant Mike Dornau says the brigade is keen to hear from community-minded drivers who have a medium rigid licence or above.

“A few of our experienced truck drivers have moved out of the area, so we’re putting out the call for people to help us out while we train up other members,” he said.

Volunteers will be given skills training.
