Woman critically injured following Sunbury collision

Two people, one with life-threatening injuries, has been taken to hospital following a head-on collision at Sunbury.

Police believe a black Holden utility was travelling east along Dalrymple Road when it collided with a blue Mazda station wagon travelling west along Dalrymple Road about 5pm on Monday.

The driver of the Mazda, a Sunbury woman believed to be in her 20s, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Honda, a 31-year-old Diggers Rest man, was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
