Woman charged following man’s death in Sunbury

Police have charged a woman following the death of a man in Sunbury on Sunday morning, November 20.

Police said a 41-year-old woman from Sunbury was charged with one count of murder on Friday, November 25

According to police, she was remanded to appear in Melbourne Magstrates Court on November 26.

“Emergency services were called to a home on Blaxland Drive on Sunday, November 20, just after 9am, following reports a man had been stabbed,” police said.

“Paramedics worked on an injured 61-year-old man found at the property, however he died at the scene.

“The parties involved were known to each other.”
