Witness appeal for fatal Bulla crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Bulla yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a head-on collision between two cars on Sunbury Road about 3.20pm.

A 69-year-old male driver and a 68-year-old female passenger, both from Baynton, travelling in an SUV, died at the scene.

The driver of a Holder sedan, a 22-year-old Melton West man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.

Sunbury Road was closed between Melbourne-Lancefield and Bulla-Diggers Rest roads for several hours and reopened just after 11pm last night.

Investigations are ongoing.
