Winter roadworks program continues

Roadworks for a new shared path that will connect a crossing on Barringo Road, New Gisborne, with Holy Cross Primary School and Gisborne Montessori School is expected to improve safety and encourage healthy activity.

The path, funded by Macedon Ranges council and health promotion charity Victoria Walks, is expected to be ready for use in July.

Other works being completed include the reconstruction of Burke and Wills Track near the intersection of Mission Hill Road in Baynton, the widening of Sandy Creek Road in Riddells Creek and resurfacing of the intersection of Kilmore Road and Jacksons Creek Way in Gisborne.

Pedestrian safety will be improved with new footpaths on Fersfield Road, Gisborne, and Brooke Street, Woodend.
