Family Day Picnic

Babes and Picnics Macedon Ranges will host a family day picnic on Sunday, September 17 from 10am-noon at Gisborne Mechanics Hall. Family and friends are invited to join the mums and bubs for a barbecue, coffee, face-painting, live music and silent auction.

Friday night games

A free games session will take place at St Mary’s Anglican church on O’Shanassy Street, Sunbury, on Friday, September 22, from 6-9pm. Everyone is invited to play board and card games.

Planks a Lot!

Children aged five and up can build a tower, maze or palace in the Planks a Lot workshop at Sunbury library, Macedon Street, Sunbury. The kids can use small wooden bricks to develop spatial reasoning and mathematical skills at the session on Tuesday, September 26, from 2-4pm.

The Exotic Lives of Lola Montez

The wildest showgirl of the 19th century will be remembered in The Exotic Lives of Lola Montez at Kyneton Town Hall on Saturday, September 23. The performance will revisit the trail of scandal and broken hearts Lola left across the Victorian goldfields.

Cobaw State Forest management

Youth Jam

Youth Jam is a free music session coming to Sunbury Neighbourhood House on every third Saturday afternoon of the month. The first session will be on Saturday, September 16, from 3-4pm. All teenagers are welcome to come along with their instruments to play, record and connect.

Youth photography

A youth photography workshop will be held on Wednesday, September 27, from 2-3pm at Sunbury library, Macedon Street, Sunbury. Young people can practise composing and editing photos from their cameras and phones. Bookings required.
