Strong winds have forced the closure of Sunbury Transfer Station today.
In a notice on its website, Hume council said the landfill remains open for commercial customers in trucks.
Council’s Bolinda Road Resource and Recovery Centre in Campbellfield will be closed from Monday, August 8 until Monday, August 22 to allow for gatehouse upgrades to be completed.
Council said the works would help it provide faster service in the future.
