Macedon Ranges council will meet tonight for the last time of 2021, with several community planning matters on the agenda.
Following last week’s meeting, where council heard from public submitters, councillors will decide on three separate development applications in Gisborne.
This includes development plans for McKim Road, a six dwelling development on Calthorpe Street and a bed and breakfast application on Couangalt Road.
Council will also decide on its approach to protecting Gisborne’s Bunjil Creek Bridge. Since May of last year, council has been seeking greater protection for the bridge, which is made of bluestone and dates back more than 140 years.
Early works are underway that will see most of the bridge’s bluestone removed to make way for a roundabout.
Council will also decide on whether to create a friends group to manage Stanley Park in Mount Macedon, provide an update on the Hanging Rock Strategic Plan and table the Affordable Housing Interim Policy.
The meeting will be held at 7pm tonight and can be watched via council’s online portal.
