A toddler bitten by a snake in the front yard of his Sunbury house yesterday is expected to be discharged from Sunshine Hospital tomorrow.
A Western Health spokesman said the boy was still in a stable condition.
He was treated by paramedics at his house about 1pm on Monday before being taken to hospital.
The boy was one of five suspected snake bite victims treated by paramedics in Victoria on Sunday according to The Age.
Residents are being warned to keep a lookout for snakes, especially with the warmer weather approaching.
