Zonta Club hosts Antique Valuation Day

St Mary’s Hall in Kyneton will be like an episode of popular television show Antiques Roadshow on May 20.

Antique valuation expert Warren Joel will join the Kyneton community to share his knowledge and expertise as he values locals’ antiques, heirlooms and artwork.

The Zonta Club of Kyneton is facilitating the Antique Valuation Day to raise funds for its community projects, which include supporting school awards, STEM scholarships and sponsoring a member of the Kyneton senior women’s football team.

Organiser Ronda Walker said anyone who enjoyed the Antiques Roadshow television show would love watching Mr Joel in action.

“Even if you have no heirlooms but love antiques, the day provides great entertainment and everyone is welcome,” Ms Walker said.

She said the event could produce drama and plenty of surprises. Valuations will be conducted at St Mary’s Hall on Hutton Street, Kyneton from 9am-4pm on Sunday, May 20.

Entry is $5 per person and valuations are $5 per item, with a limit of three items. Bookings essential, contact Ms Walker on 0417 541 371.
