A teenage boy was arrested following a stabbing in Diggers Rest on Tuesday, which left a teenage girl with life-threatening injuries.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria were called to the scene of the incident about 3.20pm.
Paramedics then treated the girl for severe upper body injuries before she was flown by helicopter to the Alfred Hospital. An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the girl is believed to be in stable condition.
A boy in his teens was also treated for minor injuries at the scene. He was taken to Sunshine Hospital in a stable condition.
According to police the circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
