Sunbury Train Line listed as exposure site, again

The Sunbury train line has once again been listed as a tier two exposure site after a case travelled on public transport on three separate occasions last week.

On Friday, August 20, a positive case travelled on a train from West Footscray station to North Melbourne station between 12.07pm and 12.15pm

On Thursday, August 19, a positive case travelled on a train from North Melbourne station to West Footscray station between 6.22am and 6.29am.

A positive case also travelled on a train that afternoon, from West Footscray Station to North Melbourne Station between 3.55pm and 4.03pm.

Anyone who used the train during those times must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative test result.

There were 45 new local cases recorded in the last 24 hours, 36 are linked to current outbreaks and 17 have been in quarantine throughout their infectious period.
