Sunbury singers unite

Shower singers, showstoppers and stage dreamers are warming up for With One Voice Sunbury’s Try a Choir event.

On Tuesday, August 19, the choir will be opening up to the public for anyone interested to come and have a try and see what With One Voice is all about.

Co-ordinator Ann Denee said the night is open to anyone to experience the power and joys of singing together as a group.

“We are a no auditions choir, everyone is welcome,” she said.

“No musical training or experience is required, we’re there for fun.”

Prospective members can come and try out the choir before they decide to join, and sing a range of songs from today’s hits to childhood classics.

“It doesn’t have to be a perfect fit and it may not be for you, but you don’t know unless you come and try,” Ms Denee said.

The Sunbury community and wider Hume community are all invited to come down, meet some fresh faces and join a fun, inclusive environment.

The Try a Choir event will happen on Tuesday, August 19 from 6.15pm at the Goonawarra Neighbourhood House, with supper to follow.

The group also meets every Tuesday night at the same time as well, and always welcome new members to rock up and rock out.
