Who doesn’t love a good old street festival?

The Sunbury StreetLife Festival will be back to liven up O’Shanassy Street on Sunday, November 20.

Event co-ordinator Sharyn Snook says the festival celebrates everything local and is an example of the community and business owners working together to celebrate main street culture.

“This vibrant community event offers something for everyone – amazing businesses, live entertainment, hands-on workshops, roving acts and children’s activities,” Ms Snook said.

“It’s a family-friendly affair. It is a celebration full of fun with plenty of surprises for all.”

The free event will showcase the offerings of local traders and more than 120 market stalls are expected to line the street.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities, which will add to a tally of $13,000 raised in the past three years.

“Our festival is brought to you by a team of amazing volunteers who hope you enjoy the day and continue to support us in the years to come,” Ms Snook said.

The festivities will kick off from 10am and run until 3.30pm along O’Shanassy Street, Sunbury.
