People can pick up a bargain and help raise money for research into motor neurone disease (MND) at a Sunbury market this Saturday.
Held at the community centre in Elizabeth Drive, the Rotary Club’s family market will again feature stalls offering an array of goods, from plants and produce to craft and hot food.
Shoppers heading to this month’s market can also donate to MND Victoria, with a group of Rotarians set to paint their faces blue to raise awareness about MND, a rapidly progressing, neurological disease.
Club spokesman Mario Spiteri (pictured) says money will help MND Victoria provide help to people living with the disease and support research initiatives.
There’ll also be free facepainting for children under 10 years.
The market is from 9am-2pm this Saturday.
