Summer fun at Macedon Ranges and Sunbury pools

Macedon Ranges and Sunbury pools are making a splash when it comes to summer fun.

Gisborne and Kyneton pools are big on fun, offering giant inflatables for kids to play on.

An inflatable is in the pool at Gisborne Aquatic Centre from 1-3pm on weekdays until January 25. There’s also one at Kyneton Toyota Sports and Aquatic Centre from 12.30-2.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays until January 24. Pool entry costs $5 per child.

Learn to swim programs for children are available at Kyneton, Gisborne and Sunbury aquatic centres. Contact Kyneton on 5421 1477, Gisborne on 5421 1452 and Sunbury on 9740 9766 for details and bookings.

There is also pool fun on offer for bigger kids.

Macedon Ranges Youth will host a pool party for ages 12 to 25 years at Woodend Pool on Thursday, January 11.

From 1-3pm, there will be a DJ, pool inflatables and a free barbecue.

Entry costs $3.80.

All ages can join the fun on Friday, January 26, when Macedon Ranges council will offer free entry to its outdoor pools in Woodend and Lancefield to celebrate Australia Day.
