The excitement is building for this year’s Bolinda Primary School and Bolinda Hall Spring Fair.
Teacher Meagan O’Sullivan said she was looking forward to this year’s event.
“We have a spring fair every year,” she said.
“The hall [committee] has organised it since I’ve been here. It’s just to raise money for the school and to also bring some recognition to the school – a lot of people don’t know the school actually exists.
“There will be lots of free rides and free activities for the kids to do. There will be showbags, which the kids are very excited about. There will be tractor rides, mystery jars, food stalls and a jumping castle as well. Fingers crossed it’s good weather.”
Ms O’Sullivan said the pupils were counting down the days until the fair.
“I think most of them are excited for the showbags because we’ve never done showbags at the fair,” she said. “The showbags are a big drawcard. I’m hoping for at least 200 people across the day. There’s also going to be a car boot sale so people can … sell their own stuff.”
The fair is on Sunday, November 10 at Bolinda Primary School, 1 Mullalys Road, Bolinda between 10am-4pm.
