Children with special needs are being given the chance to try football thanks to a new Auskick program in Sunbury. Rupertswood Football Club is teaming up with AFL Victoria and Sunbury Community Health to offer an all-abilities stream to run alongside its regular Saturday clinics. Co-ordinator Wayne Pierce (pictured with Andrew Clancy and some enthusiastic youngsters) says specially-trained coaches will take kids, including those with autism, through modified games and drills. The club will hold a bring-a-friend day this Saturday. Details: www.rupo.com.au
