Riddells Creek Myki machine stolen

Police are appealing for information after two men were filmed vandalising Myki machines in Riddells Creek and Gisborne railway stations last Friday.

CCTV footage shows two men using a white ute to try to pull a ticket machine from its steel frame at Gisborne station about 3.50am on Friday.

The machine was pulled over but did not completely detach from its footings.

The same men were recorded stealing a ticket machine at Riddells Creek station about 4.30am the same morning.

They pulled the machine from its stand and placed it in the back of the ute before driving away.

The machine was found in Palmer Street, Sunbury about 7am.

Both men were wearing dark-coloured hoodies.

Police believe the vehicle was a white, late model twin-cab ute.
